CORE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Reduce replacement cost and keep repairable aviation components moving through the supply chain by purchasing an eligible component on exchange and returning an acceptable core.
Replacement Component Now. Core Return After Removal.
For eligible repairable components, a core exchange lets the customer purchase a replacement at an exchange price while a separate core charge secures the return of the removed component. After the returned core is received and accepted under the applicable terms, the approved core amount can be refunded or credited.
How the Core Exchange Process Works
Choose an Eligible Exchange Component
Eligible product records identify the exchange price, core charge, return window, acceptable core part numbers, and product-specific terms.
Receive the Replacement
The replacement component is processed through the normal Sixty Spares order workflow. The core obligation is recorded against the order for tracking.
Return the Removed Core
Return the removed component within the stated return window and follow the part-number, documentation, freight, and condition requirements shown for the exchange.
Inspection & Core Credit
Sixty Spares records receipt and inspection of the returned core. Accepted cores move to the approved refund or account-credit stage under the terms of the original exchange.
Core Acceptance Is Product Specific
Return timing, acceptable part numbers, required condition, serial-number requirements, freight responsibility, documentation, inspection standards, extensions, deductions, and refund or credit method may vary by component. The product and order terms control the specific exchange.
Core Exchange Questions
What is a core charge?
The core charge is an amount collected with an exchange order to secure the return of an acceptable removed component. The approved amount is reviewed for refund or credit after the core is received and accepted.
Does the returned part number have to match exactly?
Not always. Some exchange products can accept approved alternate or interchangeable core part numbers. The acceptable core list shown on the product or order controls.
What happens if a core is late or rejected?
Late, incomplete, incorrect, or unacceptable cores remain subject to the exchange terms for that order. Contact Sixty Spares before the due date if the return may be delayed or requires review.
Need to Confirm a Core Exchange?
Contact Sixty Spares with the replacement part number and the part number/condition of the core you expect to return. Our team can confirm whether the component is eligible and what terms apply.
